As we take on new projects, expand into new markets, and tackle the increasing complexities of urban impact, our platform now provides a clearer, more intuitive way to explore our expertise.
Structured around four key scales—Building, Landscape, Plan, and Region—the site offers a seamless way to navigate our approach to drive meaningful impact. In a world where change is accelerating, our cross-disciplinary mindset is more relevant than ever, equipping our clients with forward-thinking solutions that turn uncertainty into opportunity.
With this evolution, we also embrace our international name: Third Nature. The transition from Tredje Natur to Third Nature reflects our ambition to be more accessible on a global stage, while staying true to our Danish roots. We stand on the shoulders of Scandinavian culture and innovation, bringing forward a strategic design philosophy deeply rooted in resilience, adaptability, and the balance between nature and the built environment.
As we grow, so does our international reach. The challenges of urbanization, climate change, and resource management are global, and we believe our solutions are more relevant to the world than ever. With a deep understanding of local contexts and a strong international perspective, we continue to shape liveable cities —no matter where they are.
A huge thanks to designer and photographer Frederik Højfeldt Nielsen and brand strategist Vibe Bangsgaard from Head North for helping us bring our vision to life. Third Nature will be reachable at thirdnaturearchitects.com and use social media handle @thirdnaturearchitects on all platforms.
Third Nature was initiated in 2011 in Copenhagen by Ole Schrøder and Flemming Rafn.
